Hey darlings, HAPPY MONDAY!! I am back with another #WorkChic Monday and this week not only am I killing it in this BEAUTIFUL yellow jumpsuit from @PowerRefined and I am also excited to get into why we, Black Women Loves YELLOW!!! lol. #TrueStory
I like to think the color yellow was created for us. So let’s talk about it and our obsession with it. Since yellow is the official color for my new @ConsistentTribe, I decided to make it my color of the year as well. No, I won’t be wearing yellow every damn day but definitely a couple of times per month. Ok, here’s 5 quick reasons of why I think we black women are OBSESSED with the color YELLOW!!!
- Well, like I said the color yellow was specifically created for us, BLACK WOMEN.
- Yellow looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL against our skinstone.
- Yellow represents the sun and like the sun black women lights up every room that they walk in.
- Along with yellow being the color of sunshine, it’s also the color of hope, happiness and magic and yes, that’s why we are #BlackGirlMagic.
About the look: Ok, yes, let’s get into the look. So back in December I had the Tribe’s officially photoshoot and since yellow was our brand color I deiced to wear this STUNNING yellow jumpsuit from my online store, @PowerRefined.
The best part about this jumpsuit is you can pretty much wear it to anything!! From the office to church, brunch with the girls, meetings, to date night, I mean whatever occasion you want!!!
