People are ALWAYS asking me how do you get to do so much and my answer is always the same. I create weekly and daily TO LIST. Honestly my days are HECTIC when I don’t create a to do list the night before.

Ok, let’s get to know The DivaCup

 The DivaCup is an amazing reusable, bell-shaped silicone menstrual cup that is suitable for girls and women of all ages. It offers up to 12 hours of leak-free protection, the DivaCup is clean, comfortable and convenient, providing a much better period care option than tampons and pads.

Menstrual cups have existed since the 1930s when women were searching for an alternative to the choices of the time. Yet, its breakthrough into the feminine hygiene industry is much more recent.

The DivaCup comes in two sizes, Model 1 and Model 2- Clearly I went with model one but let’s take a look at each model.

As a runner I appreciate that it’s ideal for all levels of activity: from sports to sleep.
Reusable and eco-friendly – saving ALL my coins!!!
Sits low at the base of the vaginal canal for easy insertion and removal.
It collects, instead of absorbs menstrual flow, meaning it will not dry out or mess with the vaginal environment/pH.
Measurement lines on the cup help women track their flow and report details back to their physician.
And the fact that it cleared for marketing by the US FDA, the Australian TGA, Health Canada and Mexico Cofepris.

How to use The DivaCup

I’m not gonna lie, I was a little worried about how this little thing suppose to go in AND stays in for up to 12hrs, lol. But Thank God it comes with clear and simple instructions.

Prior to first use, boil your DivaCup in an open pot of water for 5-10 minutes.
Empty, wash and reinsert the DivaCup a minimum of two times each day of your cycle (every 10-12 hours).Wash the DivaCup with warm water and the DivaWash or a mild, unscented, oil and fragrance free soap. More instructions on how to clean the DivaCup here and how to use it, here.
