I realize something today, I have officially survived yet another heartbreak. A heartbreak I did not think I was going to heal from. But I did, I’m still alive, living, breathing, and 100% ready to move on.  I’m a lot more aware of what I want and don’t want. It’s very clear that dating is not easy. People are not easy.  So figured like the Letter to my Exes post I’ll write an even more detailed Letter to My Future Husband. Take a look…

Dear Future Husband….

I get it, none of my past relationships worked out because God was preparing me for YOU. Every heartbreak, every night I went to bed in tears, every self-help book I read and every podcast I listen to was to get me here, right here, right now to this very moment to say I do to the most amazing, kind, caring, supportive, thoughtful, understanding handsome and LOVING man I’ve ever met. Just when I was about to lose hope, you showed up and reminded me, true, selfless and unconditional love DOES exist after all.

I’ve heard it all and seen it all; I’ve been called too difficult, too ambitious, too passionate, too angry, too rude, too aggressive, too much to handle and of course not worth it. Not worth waiting for or worth fighting for. But again, I get it. Those words have shaped me to be who I am today. Your new FABULOUS wife. I’m understanding, patient, loving caring, OVERLY passionate, successful, thoughtful, supportive and EVERYTHING I asked for in a husband I now also possessed.

As we enter this new chapter of our lives I know it’s not going to be easy but together we will try our best every single day. We are life partners. Together we will design our exact dream life. We will ALWAYS put each other first. Regardless how hectic our lives get (which it will) we will check in with one another.  Never go to bed angry, apologize when at fault and ALWAYS kiss each other good night. We are married to EACH OTHER, not our businesses so we will do at least two date nights per month, attend church every Sunday that we are both home from traveling.

As business owners, we fully understand communication is KEY. So we will communicate EVERYTHING and assume absolutely nothing. We will be 100% courteous to one another. And as for support? Well, that goes without saying. My business and life dreams/goals are just as important as your business/dreams/goals. We will FOREVER be each other’s biggest cheerleaders.

And about cooking? Yea, no, I’m not cooking every day, BUT I am willing to cook together and takes turn cooking… Now that we got the cooking talk out of the way, lol, let’s build a BEAUTIFUL life together!! Build a legacy for our future children, and set an example of what true love looks like for them. We are our own #RelationshipGoals
